So, what exactly is the GMAT Test?
That is a great question! Okay so the GMAT test actually is an acronym. It stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. It's used for admission to Master's programs and other business degrees. You can get online gmat tutoring.
So the test is divided into four parts; the Analytical Writing Assessment, the Integrated Reasoning, the Quantitative and the Verbal part.

Analytical Writing Assessment
So the Analytical Writing part is a thirty minute part and it's an analysis of argument. You can get online gmat tutoring for that. Basically though you just write about a scenario and state what the analysis of that is.
Integrated Reasoning is the next part.
This part takes about thirty minutes like the last portion and it's like 12 questions. They test you on reasoning and interpretation basically. This part it seems like you look at an infographic (an information picture) and having to decode what information they are telling you. You can get online gmat tutoring though.
The Quantitative portion of the test lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes and it is 37 questions long. This tests your ability to problem solve and something called 'data sufficiency'. You can get online gmat tutoring though.
The last portion of the test is Verbal. It lasts about an hour and 15 minutes and it has 41 questions. These questions are about reading comprehension and critical reasoning, as well as grammar. So they actually quiz you on grammar and whether you should correct words or capitalization and spelling.
You can prepare for this test in a variety of ways. One of the best ways is to get a book from the library about GMAT and solve some practice test questions. That's what someone I know did. The other way you could go though is online gmat tutoring too.
Good luck whenever you decide to take the test.
