Catholic prayer request

Does anyone still question the power of prayer? In Mark 11:24: "Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them." Prayer is indeed powerful and a Catholic prayer request is an important part of it. People pray mostly for others and there is always the feeling that there is strength in numbers when it comes to prayer. It is not that God will answer prayers faster for more than one, but shared prayers halve our burdens. It makes us feel less alone.

We have now brought prayer requests to the 21st century by being able to have Catholic prayer request online. This is a great idea, for there are many persons that for reasons such as illness or finances, cannot travel very far, and some cannot even leave their homes.
