What is the GMAT test?
The GMAT is a standardized test used to predict a students' academic success in an MBA program. The test is written and edited by the Graduate Management Admission Council. The GMAT is usually one of the main deciding factors in receiving an acceptance. Because of the weight this test carries, GMAT online prep is essential.

Forum
The Forum section offers access to group conversations between website users. There are different conversations about the various sections of the test, where you are able to discuss any questions or comments you have. GMAT online prep becomes way easier being able to communicate with others in your same position.



Test Structure

The test starts out with an analytical writing assessment. You will have thirty minutes on this section. You will then move on to the integrated reasoning section. There are four different parts to this one, including graphics interpretations, two-part analysis, table analysis, and multi-source reasoning. You will have thirty minutes for this section as well. The third section is the quantitative section, which contains problem solving and data sufficiency questions. This section will be seventy-five minutes long. The final section of the test is the verbal section. This section is also seventy-five minutes long and contains three different parts: critical reasoning, sentence correction, and reading comprehension.

The Quantitative Section
In this section of the test, you will have two types of questions. The problem solving type of question will multiple choice, where you must choose the correct answer. The data sufficiency type of question will give you one statement that is not enough information to answer the question. You will then be given two more pieces of information that you then must decide are relevant or not to answer the question.

The Verbal Section
There are forty-one questions in this section. Each question has five answers, one being correct. You will get critical reasoning, sentence correction, and reading comprehension questions. Your verbal and quantitative section scores will be added together to create your total score.
